    Blue screen Error code 0000000a = "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

    Hi Everyone,

    I have a windows XP home addition and I have been getting repeated blue screen crashes (14 crashes since 5-3-10)

    Error code 0000000a = "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" - The error that generates this bug check usually occurs after the installation of a faulty device driver, system service, or BIOS. For additional details see the link to Error code 0x0000000a.

    I reinstalled the latest Bios and still having crashes.
    I ran from Microsoft memory test and it past all 6 tests
    I checked all the drivers in the device manager and none showed any errors.
    However to one never loaded  giveio.sys and look this up and good find no info on it
    I also had aegisp.sys, which was unsigned driver

    I downloaded and installed debug Diagnostic Tool and the following results:

    DebugDiag failed to locate the PEB (Process Environment Block) in Mini050910-01.dmp, and as a result, debug analysis for this dump may be incomplete or inaccurate.

    DebugDiag did not detect LeakTrack.dll loaded in Mini050910-01.dmp, so no leak analysis was performed on this file.  If you are troubleshooting a memory leak, please ensure LeakTrack.dll is injected into the target process using the DebugDiag tool before or generating new dumps.

    I checked the other 14 Logs and they all had the same results and I do not no how to correct  the DebugDiag failed to locate the PEB (Process Environment Block) in order for me get the full report.

    I would appreciate anyone help for I am at loss of what causing all my crashes. Once again I installed the latest BIOS, and check all the drivers were OK, and did memory test and it pass all 6 test.

    Have there been any changes to the computer recently e.g. Hardware/Software?

    Download BlueScreenView
    No installation required.
    Double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
    When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
    Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
    Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

        My recommendation?
        Get rid of it.
        Believe me, all those "miracle" tools are nothing else, but a scam. You just paid 20 bucks for screwing your computer up.
        Windows maintain itself pretty well and no "miracle" tools are needed.

          I got the blue screen error a few times too, and it said irql not less or equal-whatever. Interesting solution.

            Thank you for you advice ! How did you know I was using Advanced System Optimizer anyway ???

            I am going to take your advice and take it out. I previously had McAfee but took it out when a fake alert virus which McAffee did not catch.

              Yes I was using it and Malewarebytes and I was using Microsoft virus live but took it out when I read you should not run tow virus protections at the same time.

              You have to have real AV program running.
              Download and install one of these:
              - Avast! free antivirus: http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html
              - Avira free antivirus: http://www.free-av.com/en/download/1/avira_antivir_personal__free_antivirus.html
              After installation, update the program and run full scan.

              Malwarebytes is an excellent antispyware program and you keep it. It's not an AV program though.
