    Microsoft Word Document Issue
    « on: January 19, 2011, 09:16:25 AM »
There is only one Word document that I am having trouble with. The document contains only 3 pages of info. I have viewed that with "Print Preview" to be certain. The document prints just fine except that a fourth blank sheet comes out of the printer. This is the ONLY document that it happens to. I have tried to delete information, copy & paste to a new document, deleting the last bit of information on the document & reentering it,...Not sure what else I should do...Any thoughts?

I've had this happen many times over the years and have never been able to figure out why. But I never considered it a big deal - just one of those things :)

Normally, I would not consider this to be such an issue however; I am attaching email documents for applications for employment & sending an attachment with a blank piece of page would pretty much any hopes of employment from that corporation...

As long as the blank page doesn't appear in the document, the recipient will never know if the reason for the blank page is on their end or yours. And who's to say their copies will actually print the extra page anyway? I really wouldn't worry about it.

BTW, I can assure you beyond any doubt whatsoever that the hiring companies and search firms are far more interested in the content of your resume than whether or not it prints with an extra blank page ;)

...I will hope so....I think that I will email the attachment to a friend & see if they receive 3 or 4 pages...Thanks for your input!

Good idea.  It's possible your printer may be the cause of this.
