<< < (2/4) > >>

SuperDave:
Are you still experiencing problems?

jenzo:
Yes still have problems , when opening up Firefox it opens up just before it IE don't know why but you cannot see it open & it take like 2min to open window.
Also the whole screen will just go black for few seconds when back in the tray at bottom my Avira & S&D signs gone & when window is open keeps saying not responding wondering if system restore will get rid of it , Had to to this about 6 months ago cos we could not find the problem even when everything said nothing there the system is so slow ,screen goes black ,program signs dissappear , windows not responding go black . When use CC Cleaner it cleans up all the files but like shows 800 or more IE 5 but i have IE 9 & never use it i use firefox Google.

If you think RESTORE better then i just do that don't worry only really have my music & games on computer can easy get it back if you cannot think of anything else .

Thought i just do Hijack Log for you just in case but just to open copy of the log took over 1min just to copy it seems like something is running all the time cos drive is going & fan is a lot ??

SuperDave:
Please run DDS and post the logs.

Download DDS from HERE or HERE and save it to your desktop.

Vista users right click on dds and select Run as administrator (you will receive a UAC prompt, please allow it)

* XP users Double click on dds to run it.
* If your antivirus or firewall try to block DDS then please allow it to run.
* When finished DDS will open two (2) logs.
* Save both reports to your desktop.
* The instructions here ask you to attach the Attach.txt.

1) DDS.txt
2) Attach.txt
Instead of attaching, please copy/past both logs into your Thread

Note: DDS will instruct you to post the Attach.txt log as an attachment.
Please just post it as you would any other log by copying and pasting it into the reply.

•Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.

Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run.
After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection.
Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.
Information on A/V control HERE .Then post your DDS logs. (DDS.txt and Attach.txt )

SuperDave:
Please download the latest version of Kaspersky GetSystemInfo (GSI) from Kaspersky and save it to your Desktop.

Note: please close all other applications running on your system.

Double click GetSystemInfo.exe to open it. It will display an agreement. Click on I Agree to continue.

Click the Settings button.

Set the slider to Maximum.

IMPORTANT! Then, click Customize - choose Driver / Ports tab and uncheck Scan Ports.

On the General tab, make sure all of the boxes are checked.

On the Misc tab, make sure all the checkboxes are checked.

Then, click OK on the windows that you launched.

Click Create Report to run it.

It will begin scanning.

It will create a zip folder called GetSystemInfo_XXXXXXXXXXXXXX.zip on your Desktop.

It should automatically upload it to http://www.getsysteminfo.com. If it does not, then please submit it manually by going to the site and doing the upload process.

It will redirect to a page, where it will provide a sharing URL for specialists. Copy and paste the url of the GSI Parser report in your next reply..
