Can't connect with hotel wifi or hardwire
    « on: August 31, 2014, 06:58:31 PM »
I am unable to get online via our hotel's wifi or hardwire while on a short vacation.  A yellow triangle with an exclamation mark is on both the wifi icon and the landline icon.  I am unable to open a browser in order to type in my hotel-provided username and password.  My iphone works fine but not my laptop (Acer Aspire Timeline X).  When I troubleshot, it says "Windows can't communicate with the device or resource (primary DNS server) and Problem with wireless adapter or access point - both detected.

    Any suggestions?  Very frustrated...

    Thanx

Please or please go with "Obtain IP address automatically in IP address property, this may help you.

Go into Network in Control Panel and set up a connection.
