    Sir, I have two HCL machines on domain and both running on win7 pro 32 bit. On first one I have shared the printer. Second one is showing the first one on My Network Places but printer cannot be added to the second machine. please help.....

    Have you verified that permissions have been made to allow sharing of the printer that is connected to computer #1 with computer #2? ( This would be under your Home Network Policy Preferences where you can allow printer and file sharing etc, and there are check boxes to allow or disallow.)

      Yes sir. I have turned on network discovery and file & printer sharing.

        I have added the printer with defined procedure. Actually I have added other five printers like this. But the problem is in only these two computers.

        Make sure both host and client machines are functioning on the same network (try pinging the host from the client) ans make sure the share privledges are such so as to allow people to access it. You should be prompted for a password to connect I believe, and that should be either a net admin cred, or admin on the host at least.

        Also, is it an actual domain (with a properly config'd DC)? Or is it a workgroup? Quite different... if its a domain, you may have incorrect config with your dc....
