Windows 7 Lenovo WIFI
« on: November 01, 2014, 11:52:12 AM »
Ok so when my computer is not hardwired I get a red X over the Network icon on the bottom right, i did a troubleshoot to see what the error was and it says it did not detect a properly installed network adapter. I'm not sure what to do from here i went to device manager and under other devices Network Controller has a ! but when i hit update driver software it says it cannot find the driver software i tried to download a few from the Lenovo site and even used system update but i couldn't get it working..

Try un-installing the current driver and then try the automated driver tool on Lenovo's site.

Yeah, it will, it has no driver now.  Now try going to the Lenovo site and use their driver tool.
Or do you mean that it came back with that ! after going to the Lenovo site?
