Hi guys, how are you doing?

Is this the correct steps how to configure internet connecttion at home for the first time?because i am preparing this for paragraph processing

          1.   First, prepare the Required equipment for computer home wired network

               -  A router with power adapter from an original fiber optic service installation

    -          -  Ethernet cable, which is cat 5 or cat 6 cable connector

                 - A Network interface card, which links cables with the router

    2.   Second, connect your equipment to the network

          -   Buy an internet packet from the internet service provider (ISP). Then get the username and password for the router.
      -   Connect the internet cable with your computer to the router

-Then connect the router with the ISP cable

3 Finally, configure the router with the ISP address

        -   Open your internet browser, type the given IP address and hit enter.

        -   Enter your username and password, you should see a set up screen
        -   Verify the connectivity and make sure that your computer is connected to the internet. If you can’t get access, call your ISP

ISP's will send modem that can also double as a router.

Remember that different Modems and Routers will have different IP address to access them.

    What about security protocols?
