my gmail account does not work

from a few days i can observe that my gmail account does not work properly. i can send any mail but that is not shown in my sentbox. and when anyone sent me mail, that is not come n my inbox. what should i do? (my inbox is not full. my laptop is hp630. windows 7.)

I merged the posts. Do not post the same question more than once. If nobody has responded it's because so far nobody feels they can offer intelligent advice.

What browser are you using?  Have you tried using your gmail account in another browser.  So, if you are using internet explorer try it in Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome etc..
