Unidentified network....help

Ok so normally I'm good with computers but this time I'm stumped....I have tried everything I can think of.......
**Does anyone on here know how to stop my wireless internet connection on laptop from coming up as "Unidentified network" ?
PLEASE as internet won't work unless I plug a Ethernet cable in..
My wireless works with another laptop and iPads and iPods in the house

hello danny did you initiate a password change on your router lately? If yes chances could be you are connecting automatically with the same credentials that were set before.
