Hosted network setup not receiving packets
    « on: April 08, 2015, 04:11:10 AM »
    Hello,

I have created hosted network through Admin Command Prompt commands and even shared with that hosted network. In Hosted network properties I can see IPv4 is having status as 'Internet' but it is not receiving any packets. Does any genius have this solution what am i Missing. Earlier I was connecting without any problem but since I changed my SSID and Key I am facing this issue? Does my firewall settings changed in between or any other solution?
    Image attached for your reference.

    I am connected to Internet.
    I have shared internet.
I ran commands as an Administrator.
    My wifi is working.

    Regards,
    Bhushan

Sorry, I am not yet to speed on this Windows 8 feature.
From what I read, this requires a Wi-Fi network, which is a local network.
Therefore, any change to the station ID or the password would impact the hosted network.

Do you have a referee document that explains in more detail what you did?
    Was it this one?
    About Wireless Hosted Network. (Microsoft)

    Or maybe this?
How to Create a WiFi Hotspot Using the Command Prompt (Wiki How)

    Or something else?  :D

I thought it is possible without installing third party software.
