Upcoming Server Move

After dealing with server issues off and on for over the last year I've decided to switch companies providing hosting. I've decided to go with Linode after reviewing everything they have to offer, and I am currently working with them to start the process of migrating everything over to their facility.

When this happens I'll be putting the forums into maintenance mode so no new posts or other activity gets lost during the move. I'll update this post with further details and when this is going to happen as soon as we agree on a date and time.

Update: All server data has been moved and the database sync is going to be happening today (10/15/15) @ 4:00 PM Eastern. I'll be putting the forums into maintenance mode @ 3:30 PM Eastern so no new data is created during the sync on the forums. I'll also be pointing the computerhope.com DNS to the new IP (45.79.151.23) @ 4:00 PM. After everything has been sync'd I'll return the forums back to normal and update this post. Let's hope for the best.

Server has been moved and if you're reading this updated message you should be on the new server. DNS information may take some time to get refreshed on some users computers depending on how your computer and network is saving the DNS information.

Update: Unfortunately the DNS is not getting updated for all computers as fast as I was hoping. So for those who frequent the forums frequently you may have difficulties accessing the site unless you flush your DNS information. I've updated the forums message on the other server to mention this problem.
