    Hi There,

Can anyone recommend disk imaging software that is good for a Windows network server? There are around 40 computers on the network.

What do you have for a budget, and are you looking for local imaging or pushing images out to systems over network?

My choice for a corporate enterprise network is to use Symantec Ghost http://www.symantec.com/ghost-solution-suite/

Only drawback to pushing images over the network is that it will impact other users on it. So its best to push the image out to a system after business hours or during a slow network use period such as if there is a mandated lunch period for 30 minutes or an hour for the corporate network to be busy with pushing the image across on a 100 or 1000 mbps wired network connection. If you have remote satellite sites that are bridged to your main site depending on what you have for available bandwidth it might be best to either only push an image to a system after hours or retrieve the system to join it to the local LAN to avoid congesting the bridge/tunnel connection between sites.

Yeah well its only been treated as a back up which can be done automatically and the user to do it themselves before works finishes on that day. Also for the whole operating system on the computer.
We currently don't have a budget as of yet, we are just researching and testing whats around.

Why would you be backup up the entire system on a daily basis? Why not just have 1 image of each system and then have their data backed up only?

      Incremental Backup.
      He should look at this:

      And this:

This is standard in the industry.
