For years I have been using Yahoo and sometimes AOL for news. But it seems like more and more articles are hidden ad articles lately. Click on something that follows the same navigation as the news thread and next you know your sent to a website with tons of advertising and tricky navigation that tries to get you to click on stuff other than article. Its not a malware web hijacker etc its an actual ad hidden under news articles and its frustrating.

Throwing in the towel on Yahoo and AOL News, and looking for suggestions on better news sources that dont try to get you to click on ads dark patterns and redirect you.

Not a news recommendation...but i use IGHome as my Homepage....and then customise all the widgets for my news weather sports and daily puzzle feeds...kinda handy.

P.S. Good Luck finding a reputable news source this day and age....

Maybe I'm missing something Dave, but why not CNN, NBC, NY Times, etc?

Nothing missed  :)  Its just that I figured I would throw this up on here to see what people suggest and maybe get multiples showing that one source is better than another as well as pros and cons of others etc vs poking around to find one that is better than the others.

Okay :) . Well, when I want to look at news stories (several times a day) I click on cnn.com and nbcnews.com. I'm sure others like foxnews.com, nytimes.com, usatoday.com, etc :)

Google News: news.google.com. Yeah, I don't know how Yahoo and AOL are still in business, either! Relics from the 90s!
