    Internet Speed
    « on: February 20, 2017, 06:08:15 AM »
    Test says:
download speed 60044 kbps (7505.5 kb/sec transfer rate)
upload Speed  1953 kbps (244.1 kb/sec transfer rate)

seems like big difference in direction?

    Thats how it is...pretty standard.
Unless you pay extra upload is always gonna be slower...

For most users, upload speeds are not that important because it's much more typical to download content than it is to upload.  If you have the need to upload large quantities of data, you'll need to talk to your ISP about a different plan.

If you need more upload bandwidth, then you have to buy into a more expensive service if available from ISP. Some Business Internet plans offer say 25mbps/25mbps for both up and down. But this comes at a premium. Others have say 66mbps/25mbps in which 25mbps is plenty for upload speed and so Premium internet service at a higher cost gives you this extra bandwidth/speed of volume of data transfer.
