Hello, I am having trouble logging into my Asus X551C Laptop Running Windows 10. I keep getting a "We can't sign into your account sign out and the sign back in" error. After a few attempts at signing in and rebooting the computer, I tried to wipe and reset the computer. After a few attempts at trying to wipe and reset the computer, I received a "There was a problem resetting your PC. No changes were made" error. I then booted into Safe Mode and tried to make a few attempts wiping and resetting the PC with saving my files and a Full hard drive wipe, I received then a "Start up repair could not repair your PC. Log file C:\WINDOWS\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt" . I also ran 2 anti-virus programs and cleaned the PC during and before this whole process. Unfortunately I don't have any backups on the PC. If I get this problem solved the first thing that I am going to do is Back Up the PC. Can anyone help me wipe and reset my PC. Thank You all in advance..

    Some questions.
Are you  the first owner of this laptop?
If so, you must have read the manual that came with it.
Did the ASUS X551C come with windows 8?
Did the laptop have a Windows  recovery partition?
If you did an upgrade to Windows 10, did you keep the Windows 10 install DVD?

Also, have you looked over material on the ASUS forum?

That is what I thought.  The recovery partition on the laptop is for the original Windows 8  that came with the laptop.  windows . So you would have to go back to windows 8 again. This link I gave above says that.

Did you make a note for the ID of your Windows 10 installation? It might be needed later on. Maybe not.

So you have another PC that gets Internet?

Did you ever make a Install Media for Windows 10?
If not, these links may help:
      Get current Win 10 ISO

      How to burn Media:

You may use a USB Flash Drive which is at least 3 GB or you can create an ISO file, which you can burn to a DVD later, if you wish. I chose create a ISO file. In any case, once you click on Next, the downloading of Windows 10 will start. The tool will then soon automatically start creating Windows 10 media

IMO it is good to have the Windows 10 installer on a DVD. Label it with the version or build number. Right now 1607 is current version number . The build is # 14393.953  released on 8/2/2016 and was updated a few days ago.

The Windows 10 install DVD has the option of doing repair on the same version.

The earlier version was 1511 build 10586.839 and yu can still get the ISO for that version. I think you should use that if it is what your had.

The above link claims that 1607 will repair a 1511. I do not know if that is true, but that is what the expert says.
      Hope this helps.  :)
