    WiFi not working
    « on: April 05, 2017, 11:45:17 AM »
The WiFi never worked to begin with, and I'm pretty sure it's because whoever corporate sent over to set it up had no idea what they were doing.

All the computers are connected with a cable and have internet
1 computer is connected to the router (Fortinet FortiWiFi 60D)
2 are connected to a switch connected to another switch connected to the router
and several printers are either connected to the router or to switches

    I followed the directions.
    -plug all the things in
-input the given IP into the browser to configure

I get an error saying the connection timed out or it just can't connect. From there, I checked what the computer's IP was and entered that instead and got the same results. Then I changed the settings to allow the IP and DNS addresses to be automatically assigned, same outcome. Finally I changed to IP to match the one given on the router and still no luck.

If I try to plug in a different computer into the LAN 1, that computer loses internet access.

I have no idea why the problem exists, so of course I'm having trouble trying to solve it.

I'd appreciate any and all input!
