Computer Hibernation
« on: January 16, 2008, 05:40:48 PM »
Hi all,

I had a question about how to leave my computer on all night. I have a problem with my computer shutting down the whole computer and I need it to run overnight. Anyone know how to take all restrictions of so it stays on all night?

thanks for your help

I have a laptop Windows XP. Everytime I get the "control alternate delete" prompt it puts my computer into hibernation...

Start / Settings / Control Panel / Power Settings...turn off hibernate under the hibernate tab / under Power Schemes set Standby to Never.
