My laptop computer works fine strickly on AC. However, when I install the battery pack all light are green for a minute then the battery indicator truns bright orange. I checked the charge indicator lights on the battery itself and rather than every light glowing only every other light glows. My laptop was hooked up to my car all day election day. I accidently hit a button on the side of my laptop (where the headphones would plug in) that has waves on it. I actually didn't know this was a button until I hit it and my screen went blank. When I tried to restart it is when I got the orange light. When I plugged the laptop back in which the cigarette lighter adapter not only did the light turn orange on my laptop but the light went out on the adapter as well
Does anyone know what I hit or was it a short?
Any ideas?
