Help me shrink my screen...

My 4 year old touched something. When I went to fix it, I screwed with the size of icons and fonts accidentally. How can I make the way the screen looked go back to normal.

I am going blind with these L A R G E pages. Please help.

Try this:

Right Click the Desktop and go to Properties.
Head over to the Settings Tab and change the Resolution to 1024 x 768.
Press OK.

See how that works out.

That is what it was set to.  Any other advice?

In the Appearance Tab, change the Font Size to Normal.

My AOL mail looks HUGE. I used to see many emails on one page...now only like 20 emails. My Ebay pics looks HUGE which is distorting the page a bit. My desktop Icons are bigger.

I feel like I have to move the monitor back 100 feet!!

Help!!  I don't know where the appearance tab is. What do I do once I find it?

Do the reverse.

Also, when I open CONTROL PANEL, the Picture Icons are on top of each other cause they are too big. Need to make icons a little smaller.

Hmmmm....

Also in the Appearance Tab, click Advanced and look through the settings.

Ok, but when I change the font size to normal, the pics do get smaller but my TEXT gets too small.


Can anyone get me back to normal?  Pleeeeze.

What if you select Large instead of Normal and Very Large?

Also, did you check out the Advanced button?

The advanced seems to only be for changing the color.

No, it's not ok. I still have LARGE ICONS which is making my pages distorted.

I am scared to make all these changes since I know I was not in these places to begin with. I am scared I won't be able to get it back to at least viewable. 

What would I change?? Text?   To what number?

I think I made my errors by going to ALL PROGRAMS ---> ACCESSORIES --> ACCESSIBILITY ---> ACCESSIBILITY WIZARD

Actually, if this is a recent problem, try performing a System Restore to a day before the problem started.

This would save you having to go through the settings yourself.
