Can someone tell me if I understand the Boot.ini File as far as this Line?
Boot Loader.
Timeout=30
This Line is just how Long the Boot Menu will stall on screen in sec.
default=multi[0]disk[0]rdisk[0]partition[1]\Windows
default=multi[0] is the IDE Controler number
disk[0] is the Hard Drive number
rdisk[0] what is this??
Please tell me if everything is right and what I sould know

I think I am getting some of it with the Boot.ini
default=multi[0]disk[0]rdisk[0]partition[1]\Windows
If you are useing IDE Hard Drives you would set it like this
default=multi[0]
and i9f you are useing scisi Hard Drives you would set it like this
default=scisi[0]
and the scisi controler number would go were {0} is
so
default=multi[0] means the first IDE controler and disk[0] means the first Hard Drive on the belt and what is rdisk[0]partition[1]\Windows

I get this it will tell the Boot Loader that I am useing a IDE Hard Drive.
But why set to 0. and not 1. or 2. ??
If you would for a scisi number??
