    windows explorer

    when i right click on some icon windows explorer screen blinks out and then come back
    said windows explorer has encountered a problem and need to close. we are sorry for the inconvenience

    Click Start then Run and type in sfc /scannow and press enter. Notice the space between the c and the /. Have your windows CD handy, it will ask for it.

    Uninstall Powerdesk and see if the problem goes away- (or disable it's shell extension)
    I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

      excellent! If you still want to use powerDesk, you can try reinstalling it- might have been an issue with it's installation- or, you could check for updates.
      I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.
