I was wondering if anyone knows of a sure way of getting noticed quick when creating a website? I've created a website for computer help and services and can't seem to find a good way to get noticed without getting scammed. If anyone have any ideas, please feel free to post your ideas or experiences.

Depending on what the site is about, find a simmilar site/forum and do a bit of advertising in your signature, etc. if it is allowed. Use lots of relavent keywords, and link to lots of pages.
