installing xp on a reformatted hard drive
    « on: November 24, 2009, 06:58:46 PM »
I am trying to reformat an older hard drive so that I can put xp on it cleanly.  It previously had 98 on it.  I put it as a slave on another computer and reformatted it, then shutdown and put it as the master and unhooked the other hd.  On startup, it goes through the bios, but asks for a floppy drive.  I don't even have the floppy drive hooked up.  Any suggestions?

    Thanks for your help.
