    Kodak Picture CD
    « on: February 07, 2010, 03:04:27 PM »
I can play a Kodak picture cd on our lap top, but can't play a picture cd burned on our desk top. I use slow burn speed and have tried several dc manufacturers. Suggestions? :'(

I think I've discovered what's wrong. I had burned the still images on a dvd, not a CD as I thought. It won't play the DVD, but it will play the CD version.

The desktop drive may not be a DVD drive...that would explain it.

SUCCESS!! I down loaded ImgBurn software and burned the photo's to a CD-R as a data file which is recognized by Ofoto on the lap top.

Do yourself a big favor and un-install any Kodak picture software on that machine...

The Ofoto software is on a lap top that's never connected to the net so I've never experienced those problems.
