ABOUT MDK2

MDK2 is a sequel to the popular MDK and if you were a MDK fan like we were you are going to love MDK. At first Computer Hope was real doubtful of MDK2 being such a great game we could not possibly think of how this game could have been improved. Luckily Interplay proved us wrong, with outstanding graphics (requiring more intensive hardware, mainly 3D Acceleration) you will be amazed how Kurt looks when battling his enemies.

Like the predecessor MDK2 brings back the humor and excitement in fighting the aliens and saving the Universe. However, unlike MDK you will now be fighting with not only Kurt but also the 6-legged gun-toting robotic dog, Max and the genius behind MDK Dr. Hawkins. However, unlike Kurt each of the two new playable characters posses their own unique style of play. Max has the capability of wielding up to 4 weapons and can use a jet pack to elevate to higher locations. Dr. Hawkins however must use his amazing intelligence to develop and create weapons and work through various situations.

While a great game MDK (the first edition) could be finished in a mater of hours. Thankfully Computer Hope loves the fact that MDK2 has improved the difficult rating when compared to MDK. MDK2 is much more difficult in creature skill, stunts and the level of thinking that must be preformed to beat the game, which makes the accomplishment of this game even better.

With the great new graphics, humor, original type of game play, great music, and increased level of difficulty we applaud Bioware and Interplay for a great game and give this game a 10 out of 10 rating.

HINTS AND TIPS
  1. Always move when playing Kurt, holding still will only cause you to be hit by enemy fire.
  2. When playing Max we recommend using 2- guns (one hand gun / one Uzi). Using more unless during times of intense fire is a fast way to loose ammo.
  3. Be cautions of enemies with Dr. Hawkins, think smart and if at all possible try to prevent enemy contact.
