General scanner information

When attempting to scan receive "Scanner not ready".

The scanner light never goes off.

The scanner light is activated by the software. To turn the light off you must close out of the scanning software. If this does not resolve the issue and you have Windows 95/98 press CTRL + ALT + DEL and end task WatchDog.
