TROUBLESHOOTING After loading Diamond Video drivers I get VDD error after rebooting
This is generally caused by conflicting of drivers. From
Windows, click Start / Settings / Control Panel / Click the settings tab / Under settings
change the display type to Standard VGA; once this has been set, reboot the computer, if
needed. Uninstall all Diamond Video drivers through the Add / Remove Icon through Control Panel or through the Uninstall program, if supplied with the drivers. Once the drivers
have been completely Uninstalled, attempt to install the Latest drivers again.
Will my video card work with Windows NT
4.0?
Most new Diamond video cards will work in Windows NT providing there are
available drivers on Diamond's
web site, as well as ensuring that you have Windows NT Service
Pack 3 installed.
Getting unreadable text with older games and my Diamond Video
card.
More than likely this is caused because older DOS games, such as SIM CITY 2000, use 8x14 text font. Diamond supplies a TSR utility
called VGA8x14.COM, by running this utility before running the game.
Getting no video or distorted video with the game Shadow Warrior with Diamond Speed Star.
Generally caused by having the Zero Wait State Enabled, disabling this
should allow the game to function properly.
