TROUBLESHOOTING SIS
Notice
SIS produces only chipsets on Motherboards and VGA cards and has
as of yet never manufactured any board or any card. Many of SIS chipsets are customized
for certain computer manufacturers hardware; therefore, SIS recommends, before visiting their
web site for drivers, that you visit your manufacturer's web
site first to ensure that no drivers are supplied through them.
I cannot play the game Red Alert with my SiS VGA
62x5
Ensure first that your 62x5 VGA drivers are later versions than 1.15 which allows DirectX support. If you have later version, attempt to reinstall
the SiS drivers; it is a very good possibility that your drivers may have been over
written by the DirectX drivers. If you are still not able to run this program, ensure that
your Sound Card is DirectX compatible.
Is there a way to disable my SiS Video Card chipset?
When a new VGA card is installed within the computer, the SiS built-in VGA card should
disable itself, and pass the support to the new video card.
General video card troubleshooting:

complete information on computer video cards.
