Enabling 32-bit file access in Windows
3.x.
Issue:Enabling 32-bit file access in Windows 3.x.
Solution:
- Go into
the Control Panel from program manager.
- Double-click on the 386 Enhanced icon.
- Select the
Virtual memory button, and then choose change.
- If the swap file is temporary choose permanent.
- In this
screen you should be able to enable the 32-bit disk access, if you do enable the 32-bit
disk access ensure that you also enable 32-bit file access.
- Restart
Windows.
