The PCI/VGA Palette Snoop is an option in the BIOS setup that can be toggled to enable PCI (peripheral component interconnect) cards to examine a video card's palette and mimic it. It is useful for cards without a VGA (video graphics array) color palette. This feature was required for early MPEG (Moving Picture Experts Group) decoder cards, TV cards, and other unique expansion cards that worked with graphics. However, today this feature is rarely used and should be Disabled unless your computer has a card requiring it to be enabled.

How do I disable the Palette Snooping?

If available, the Palette Snooping can be disabled by entering the computer BIOS setup and disabling it in the BIOS settings.
