2464 configuration error at boot.

Issue:

2464 configuration error at boot.

Cause:

This issue could be caused by any of the below possibilities.

  1. Connections not correctly connected
  2. CMOS setup needs to be updated
  3. Potential conflict or hardware related issue

Solution:

Connections not correctly connected

Verify that the monitor or other device is properly connected to the computer. If the connection appears to be properly connected, verify that the cable itself as well as the connection on the back of the computer do not appear to be damaged or bad.

CMOS setup needs to be updated

Attempt to enter CMOS setup and verify that the settings relating to your video card are properly set. If settings appear to be correct or once video card has been properly changed within CMOS, save the values and exit CMOS.

Potential conflict or hardware related issue

If any hardware has been recently added to the computer it is recommended that it be removed.
