  1. Create a new mail message and type what you wish to use as your template in this new message.
  2. Once you have finished typing the message, click the File menu, Save As, type the name of the file, and for the Save as type, select Outlook Template (*.oft). If you do not have this option it is likely because Outlook templates are not installed.
  3. Click Ok.
  4. Close the e-mail, when you close the e-mail you will be prompted if you want to save the e-mail, say No unless you wish to keep a draft of this message.
