This error is generated when Windows detects the hard drive, but the hard drive is not formatted or doesn't have enough available space to install Windows. To resolve this issue, follow the steps below.
Format the hard drive
If you are attempting to erase the computer's hard drive and install Windows, make sure the hard drive is formatted. Often users see this error after creating the partitions but not formatting the hard drive.
Erase some files on the hard drive
If you have personal files on the computer hard drive and do not want to completely erase the computer and start over, delete files you no longer need. Often this can be achieved by deleting the previous Windows installation (deltree C:\Windows /Y).
