CombiMovie is a great freeware program that is capable of combining two or more mpg or mpeg movie files into one file.

Windows Movie Maker (Video)

Microsoft Windows XP and later users can also use Windows Movie Maker, a software program included with Windows XP Service Pack 2 to combine WMV movie files into one file and make any other additional changes at the same time.

Although this program is not free a demo of the program can be downloaded and tried. This program has a lot more support for other video formats not supported in the above listed free programs.
