If you're encountering this error with Microsoft Money follow the below steps for the version of Windows you're using.
Microsoft Windows XP users
- Close any open windows including Microsoft Money.
- Click Start and then Run. If you're using Vista type cmd and then press enter.
- In the run box or command window type: regsvr32 rsabase.dll and click Ok.
- After the registration has been completed run Microsoft Money to see if this issue has been resolved.
If you continue to experience the same errors repeat the above steps, however, replace the rsabase.dll file with the files listed below until the issue has been resolved.

- initpki.dll
- rsaenh.dll
- sccbase.dll
- slbcsp.dll
- softpub.dll
- wintrust.dll
Users encountering this error while on the Internet
If you're encountering this error while using Internet Explorer or another browser while surfing the Internet this issue is often attributed to a third-party plug-in and/or spyware on your computer.
If you're using Internet Explorer try each of the suggestions found on document CHIE.
If you're using any other browser make sure all add-ons, plug-ins, or other software associated with the program is up-to-date and/or uninstalled.
