Are spaces allowed in an e-mail address?

Notification of new e-mail.

Like an Internet URL (uniform resource locator) no spaces are allowed in an e-mail address. However, names can be broken up using a period; for example, John Smith may have an e-mail address: [email protected] or [email protected] because no spaces are allowed in the e-mail address.

To send multiple e-mail addresses, the procedure to do so may vary, depending on the e-mail client you're using. In most e-mail clients and online services, you can specify multiple addresses in the To:, Cc:, or Bcc: fields by inserting a comma between each address.
