How to install Oracle

Many applications are available from Oracle, each one having different requirements for installation and a different process for installing.

• For the best performance, servers running Oracle applications need a large amount of memory (RAM), at least 32 GB.

• Patches for Oracle applications are released frequently to fix bugs and add additional features. Be prepared to install one or more patches every month or two.
