A-B Box
The
A-B Box is a switch box used to connect different computer peripherals to one computer. The A-B box is
often an analog switch box that connects multiple
parallel devices such as scanners, printers or monitors
to one computer. In the picture to the right, is an example of what the front
and back of an A-B Box looks like. As can be seen in the picture of the back of
the A-B Box, you have an input-output port, which connects to the computer and
then an A and B port that connects to each of the devices.
Note: If purchasing an A-B box for a computer printer, it is highly recommended you contact the printer manufacturer first to confirm using such a device does not void your warranty.
