ACR

  1. Short for Absolute Cell Reference, ACR is a cell located in a spreadsheet that does not change regardless of its attributes. An example of an absolute cell reference is A2 as shown in the below illustration. A2 is a cell that can be referenced by other cells or spreadsheets, can be copied, or have the attributes changed without affecting the value A2.

The opposite of an absolute cell reference is a relative cell reference.

Additional information about changing from an absolute cell reference to a relative cell reference can be found on document CH000774.

  2. Short for Attenuation Crosstalk Ratio, ACR is a measurement performed in decibels that verifies a signal transmitted on a shielded or unshielded twisted-pair cable has no errors.

  3. Short for Actual Cell Rate, ACR when referring to ATM is a measurement of how many cells a second a source is allowed to send.

  4. Short for Annual Compliance Report, ACR is an annual report created by a third-party company that lists the violations or approval a product.
