A feature introduced by XP that lets
you know when your computer system needs your attention. This feature
has been enhanced by Windows 7 by allowing the user to have a centralized
location to go to see any system alerts. When Windows has an alert,
the Action Center icon will appear in the taskbar,
with any alerts appearing when you open it.
