Arrow may refer to any of the following:
1. When describing an arrow key on the keyboard, see our arrow keys definition for further information.
2. With a computer mouse arrow cursor, see our mouse arrow definition for further information.
3. When describing a GUI (graphical user interface) element, an arrow or chevron indicates other options or visible elements are available. For example, in a menu an arrow can show the menu option would show a submenu.
4. An arrow is a symbol that helps indicate a direction. To create an arrow on a web page, you must use the HTML (hypertext markup language) extended character code. Below are examples of how these may appear on a web page.
