BDC may refer to any of the following:

1. Short for backup domain controller, a BDC is a failsafe computer on a Microsoft Windows NT 4 network that holds a backup containing a duplicate of user account information in a network. These backup accounts are never written to, only read from to help keep the data protected. The BDC was replaced in Windows 2000 by the Active Directory feature.

2. Short for Bluetooth daughter card, BDC was a Bluetooth card used with MDC (mobile daughter cards).

3. Chat slang for big dot com, or big dumb company.
