Card punch

Punch cardA machine that punches holes into a card that can then be read by other hardware device and interpreted as data. In the past, this allowed businesses and governments to store and input data. Today, the card punch is not commonly found or used, but some businesses that have relied on these in the past may still use them to get access to older information. In the picture to the right, is an example image of what a punch card looks like.
