Short for counterclockwise, CCW is a direction made
to the left that an object is rotated or moved. For example, when
wanting to remove a screw you would
rotate the screw driver to the left, which is the opposite direction
analog clock hands rotate. To the
right is an example illustration of the counterclockwise
direction.
