CCW
Short for counterclockwise, CCW is a
left direction, rotation, or movement of an object. For example, when wanting to remove a screw you would rotate the screw driver to the left, which is the opposite direction
an analog clock hands rotate. In the picture to the right, is an example illustration of the counterclockwise direction.
An easy
way to remember this is with the popular saying, Righty tighty lefty
loosy.
