A user account that contains all the default settings defined
by the software developer and/or computer manufacturer. For
example, in Microsoft Windows XP a default user account exists
on the computer as a location to store all the default settings
used with Windows and the computer. This account is used
whenever a new user profile is created, all the default users
settings and files are copied over to the new profile and can
then be modified to how that user wants.
