Disc spindle
Name
of a spindle that contains dozens or hundreds of blank discs. For example, the
picture to the right, is of a Sony DVD+R
disc spindle that contains 25 blank DVD+R discs. Other disc spindles could
have blank CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, or DVD+RW discs.
