DVR
Alternatively referred to as a Personal Video Recorder (PVR), DVR is short for Digital Video Recorder and is a home electronic device device similar to the VCR that enables users to record their favorite shows anytime to a computer hard disk drive. What makes DVRs increasingly popular is their ease of use and the ability for a user to record their favorite shows and watch them any time.
In the above picture, is an example of the TiVo, the first successful DVR and still one of the most popular DVR solutions.
