Enclosure
Term often associated with computer hard disk drives, however can be used to describe any external or internal box that holds a computer peripheral such as a hard disk drive.
In the picture to the right, is an example of an Adaptec laptop hard disk drive
enclosure that could be used to connect a laptop hard disk drive to a desktop computer.
These enclosures can be purchased online or at any local computer retail store.
