Examples of using the end key

Below is a list of all of the different ways the end key can be used on your keyboard. Keep in mind that not all programs use the end key the same, so not all of these examples will work with every program.

  • End - Go to the end of the line, paragraph or document.
  • Ctrl + End - Pressing Ctrl and End at the same time will go to the very end of the text or page.
  • Shift + End - Pressing Shift and End at the same time highlights all text from the current position to the end of the line.
  • Ctrl + Shift + End - Pressing Ctrl, Shift, and End all at the same time highlights all text from the current position to the end of the text or page.

Tip: While browsing the Internet pressing the end key on your keyboard will move to the bottom of the page.
