Entry
- Most often, an entry refers to a word, phrase, number, or other information that you might enter into a spreadsheet, database cell or field. Although what you enter in one field may be more than one word or number, it's considered a whole entry.
- Entry describes the process of a user or program gaining access to a computer or network.
